Wheel studs from hell.
Nope, when the lug breaks off you can see the steel/alloy is just twisted and looks a little like the James Bond logo. I showed my wife the latest and she said, "WTF! You eat your spinach today or what?" LOL. Funny thing is I am not a big guy.- Xodius

Wheel studs from hell.
No the studs that come out of the axles through the drum and the lugs go onto. I have broken/sheared off 9 on them with my star wrench. I am getting good at replacing them :D Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- Xodius

Wheel studs from hell.
Am I the only one that has broken nearly every rear wheel stud? Never fails, nearly every time I remove the rear tires I bust a stud. I only have one original left lol. Anyone else have wheel studs that suck? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- Xodius

So I went into the garage yesterday and they were still WET! So, I took them outside to back in the wonderful Vegas sun...Oddly enough the coating got softer and wetter. When I touched it the paint came off onto my finger so, back into the garage and out came the mineral spirits. I striped... -

Alternative to Extra Rear Isolators
Got mine in today! Thank you very much!! hmmm...wonder if the KJ will fit in the garage after they are installed...I was barely making it in with out them...Might be time to plasma cut my Hi lift and re-mount it somewhere else. LOL.- Xodius

Still working on the texture. One dries one way and the other a different. I put another light coat and it all seems to go to hell. LOL. The primer I am using is per a off-roader here in town, it is undercoating and then a top layer of bedliner. Still working on the undercoating. I did a... -

One is ready for primer and paint the other will be in about 40 more min :) Going Bedliner on them...we will see how they turn out. At least it is hot and dry here so it should dry pretty quick. :) -
New idea
I was thinking to use something like a older tripod modified...or at least that would give you a basic idea of the rods. Perhaps this weekend I will take a look and see what I can whip up. Either that or install my hood vents, lol. Still debating what paint to use on them....the dark garnet...- Xodius

I am still working out the finer points but this past weekend I was out shooting with some friends and I realized, like an idiot, I was the only one without a canopy overhead while shooting in the 112 degree desert.
