Window strut bracket repair
03 Jeep kj. The ball for mounting the rear window strut is gone. Anyone know if there’s a way to fix it? I tried pb blast and tried to turn it out. But it does nothing but turn. And if I got it out I don’t know where to get a replacement? Advise?- Kcbell73

4x2 vin with 4x4 selector?
I had that thought as well, but have decided that the vin code must be wrong. There is a 4x4 badge and these parts don’t appear to be aftermarket. Perhsps the 4x4 was done in production as an option?- Kcbell73

4x2 vin with 4x4 selector?
differential and transfer case are there. Just no drive shaft. Like I said, I figure there was a problem and the previous owner removed it. It was sold to my daughter without it. The badge? Lol. Didn’t I say I was a noob with jeep?- Kcbell73

Duh. Yes. It does. I was thrown off by the vin decoder saying it is 4x2 drive when obviously it’s a 4x4. Or it will be when we get the front drive shaft replaced and confirm everything is operational.- Kcbell73
