    Heating the pinch weld itself wouldn't help much, unless you used a torch and extreme heat. It actually bends pretty easy with some well placed hits from a 3-5# sledge hammer. The plastic liner can be softened with a heat gun so you can cut and fold back a section that covers the pinch weld...

    I drove my KJ to Reno today and came back lookin' like this: Not only do these new wheels & tires look cool, they are so much more off-road capable than my old tires it ain't funny. And on-road is pretty damn good too - also better than the old (god, I hated that howling sound).

    Yep, real happy. :gr_grin: No, those are faux beadlocks, but they are the best fake ones I've seen. The company actually makes a beadlock version of the same wheel and it's very hard to tell the difference - unless you look at the invoice. :eek:
