Noob question- alloy vs. steel
MY DAUGHTER LEARNED THE HARD WAY she bought a jeep fancy deep chrome rims and had nothing but leaks air leaks , it was the chrome chipping at the bead. I purchased a 1957 with steel original rims never ever leaked and wont.- Ronald

You’re thoughts about cold air intake system worth it? Or waste of time
I leave everything stock , that way it runs the way the manufacturers want it to and doesn't void any warrantees , if the warrantees are over , its still the best way to go , the only thing I don't not keep stock is the brand of oil or the oil and air filter. going on 100,000 miles . You...- Ronald

I certainly agree with all the answers that say It looks like the brake shoe retaining spring, but I could be not right, how's the stopping and noise , if its all good just save the spring .- Ronald

about product #53013816AA this little plastic splash guard can become annoying to remove your filter oil filter on some 3.7 v6 jeeps the plastic really does nothing except maybe if you can get the filter off it will let the excessive oil drip out other than that do you really need...- Ronald
