    Hella problem....

Yes, thats one way to do it, but I wanted the "ding...ding...ding" to happen if somehow my aux lights get knocked on during the day should I not notice. Don't want a dead battery where I go!

Someone here said "The crossover routes the tweets to the tweeter on that side. It also routes the audio the the rear door speaker for that side' A crossover blocks specific frequencies from going to certain separates IE tweeters,mids,subs... If you run a tweeter directly from the head...

    Hella problem....

Hella Problem FIXED I found the issue and it was simple and STUPID...Inside the lamp housing you have the two spade connectors, one for the ground and one for the "hot". Well, I decided to tape around the "hot" side so that it would not contact the lamp ground. It still did, so this time I...

    Hella problem....

Ok, I found out so far that the relay went as well.. The wiring is all correct and no where that I can see is a cut in the wire or anyplace that a hot can ground out. The ground has .03 ohms which is the same at another factory ground.I am going to check the whole wiring harness again. But the...

    Hella problem....

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree they are off road lights. I have had Hellas for many years and have used them for slow trail rides in the summertime without any failures, some trail rides were more than 2 hours and no more than 10/15 mph, so no cool air blowing across them. I'm thinking about...

    Hella problem....

I am using the wires that came with the kit.. Nothing deviated except for the fact that I hooked the "high beam" wire now goes to my parking lights. Other than that everything is by the diagram.. Grounds are good.

    How to mount Hella's...???

:cool:Punching the wires is actually pretty easy! At the drivers side firewall just under the power brake booster where the firewall meets the inner wheel tub you will see a knock out. Now, inside the drivers side remove the kick panel puul back the carpet (its attached to hard foam, I just...

    An interesting idea....

No, there are already plenty places for "other 4WD's"....This is the only TRUE KJ place, I think we need to keep it KJ only! I really don't want to have to look at "new posts" just to find Ford this Chevy that....I like KJ just the way it is....Now if only there were more action going on in...

Got my lights and brush bar on today

Actually I bought it used and there are no markings on the bar at all.. The closest one that I could find that exactly matches it was called ARIES.. Sorry, I can't be anymore specific. It is very strong and well built, no cheap thin metal or shotty welds. Extremely heavy duty!

    Synthetic oil

Ok, let me see if I get this right....My sis-in-law is a Dr. with a chemistry Doctorate, she explained the synthetic 710 debate... Regular oil has spheres, rods and cones in its atoms/molecules with the emphasis being on rods and cones. Synthetic oil has ALL spheres.. Now, obviously...
