To Paint or Not to Paint that is the question

Thanks dave. I'm done with my mods for now. Next will be lift and exhaust when the stock set up gives out. Santa is suppose to bring me skids this year! I'm set for the Centralia M&G. Just have to get the rest of my recovery gear. Looks like a trip to Rausch Creek with my brother in law and...

To Paint or Not to Paint that is the question

Ok so I finished my beltline today. I started last night at 11:30pm and painted the drivers side. Today I painted the passengers side. Total labor time was approximately 2 hours per side. Cost of materials was $25.00 dollars. Here is a pic. (sorry it's dark my bb went down so I had to...

Just couldn't wait to install these

Looks great. I like the look of the renny flares but decided I'm sticking with what I got. Besides the sport flares are easier to clean mud and dirt off of.

    windshield tint strip?

Remember the tint would go on the inside of the window, and the decal/letters would go on the outside. Unless a vinyl shop made something custom for outside only. Obviously Pepboys and such sell those premade ones so that shouldnt be an issue getting what you want custom made. Best advise I...

    windshield tint strip?

Yes It is cut in half (seamed)on top of the rear view mirror. It is also kept away from the rear view mirror mount by a few mm. The dotted line stuff is not an issue on our vehicles because it's between the glass. I only had him install it down to the AS1 line on the front windshield. As he...

    windshield tint strip?

Yes I have the strip across the front windshield. However it was professional done. I was there when he installed it and it took him a while to get it just right. It can be done but you have to have patience while you install it. Here is a pic with mine installed. I have some other pics in...

To Paint or Not to Paint that is the question

I am interested in painting the belt line with spray on bedliner. I have already purchased all the supplies but have been hesitant to complete the project. I am nervous on how the finished project will look on my KJ. I don't want to strip and repaint again if I don't like the results. Here...

It's funny the wife seen them for the first time tonight. She pulls up and then backs up and parks behind me looks at the hood decals and asks: "What is KJ sport 4x4?" I said it's my Jeep it's a KJ model. She proceeds to walk around the vehicle and says: "It doesn't say that anywhere on your...

    Driving on Daytona Beach

It was, especially since that was right after I bought the Jeep. Too bad the sand conditions on the beach were good because 2wd vehicles were allowed. From what I remember they had big signs off to the side they would post when they would restrict the beach to capable 4x4 vehicles only because...

Just seen this for the first time

Didn't see this video before: Orangeville mudbog 2010. The pickup truck in the video looks stupid jacked that high. This guy has 2.5" of lift and 31" inch tires on his KJ. _2pqPm8BWR4
