Tjkj2002, How does the SFA kit connect to the 3.7 motor mounts? Do you think that the 4.7l mounts, specifically Grand Cherokee mounts, could potentially present a problem with installing the kit? I don't believe that a problem would exist getting everything properly set up. But you can... -

OK, so let's be serious...4.7l swap.
Bought an '02 Grand Cherokee 4.7l HO. Completely rebuilt brand new, comes with full gasket kit and install kit (hoses, plugs, distributor, water pump, etc.). Since its only the engine, I picked up a set of valve covers, intake manifold, and oil pan. I'm planning on reusing the 3.7 throttle...- Honduras

The hardest part about making a decision on tires is that I want to run 15" wheels with 37" tires. For whatever reason, there's not a lot of selection in that range that'll perform well both on and off road. That's one of the reasons why I was originally drawn to the Toyo's. Marlin is giving me a full refund. Pretty sure he's not going to offer them any longer as the company has apparently been a huge pain in the junk to deal with. The D30S is toast. Not sure what's going to happen now. Pretty effing pissed about the whole thing.- Honduras

Yep, at 92 lbs per tire, they're heavy beasts. Did your previous 13.50s affect road and offroad handling significantly? I hear that airing them down barely increased tire flex at all. What made you switch over to the MT/R, the weight?- Honduras

Yep. I changed my mind shortly I after posting this. Steering would immediately go to crap, along with gas mileag, along with flex, etc. The 14.50s are too wide. I don't know that I would gain much except the ability to drive on sand without worry. Not to mention the tire/wheel combo would be...- Honduras

I want to run with these under the liberty, but I'm curious as to whether or not a 15x10 beadlock will provide sufficient coverage without wearing the tires down prematurely. Yes, I know they are massively heavy. Thoughts?- Honduras

Sucks because the JBA kit was great but it wasn't ever going to be the rock crawler that I wanted it to be. While it was awesome on trails, rivers,and mountain roads, it couldn't keep up with the big boys in the rock piles. It was a harsh moment to finally have to admit this to myself, too. I...- Honduras

It's not that I was wheeling hard, the RCVs have less articulation than my JE Reels. It simply bound up and yanked itself out of the differential. Not to worry, though; I have a pair of full-width D60s on order. My IFS woes will soon be over. :peace:- Honduras

Yes, sway bar was disconnected. I can only assume that it happened during a fully drop. No splines stripped, but the boot was shredded something horrible.- Honduras
