And one reason why I will have them, too! :)

RCV isn't ready for the KJ...

Passenger-side axle got sent back to the factory because it was too short, light wheeling over the weekend caused the drivers-side axle to bind up and rip clean off the front differential leaving me sans 4x4 drive and spinning the rear wheels (even locked) to no avail. Due to the...

    ORI struts

So I am considering going with a full ORI strut solution as opposed to coilovers/shocks/springs. I've read nothing but good things about them and I also have a friend who constantly sings the praises about how much the ORIs have improved his TJ's overall ride and stability. They also have the...

    Engine Swap Overview

What about the wiring? You just used the 4.7 donor harness and nothing else? What about the ECM from the 4.7, etc.? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    12.5" Willwood Brakes

That sucks. Yep, it looks like I'll be skipping out on the Willwoods. Thanks for the info!

    12.5" Willwood Brakes

This question is more for tjkj2002 than anyone else, but I figured that other folks who are considering the SFA option may find the info useful. What was the issue that you experienced with this particular set of brakes? I was initially leaning towards them, but Martin has instead recommended...

    best wheel option

Ha. Seriously. As far as forums go, Cragar Soft 8s are pretty much the official wheel for Libertys.

    JBA Triangulated 4-link

Can you post a close-up of how you have your rear coilovers mounted?

    JBA Triangulated 4-link

Tom, you also have the RL HD bumper. Did you notice a decrease in handling characteristics after you mounted it full loaded (tire, lift, etc.)? That thing is heavy as hell. Just curious if you noticed anything significant. Did the rear coilovers help out in any way?

    JBA Triangulated 4-link

Also didn't help that I taco'd the y-link extension. That's the biggest reason for going the 4-link. I shouldve mentioned that part. Yep, bushings were constantly going bad, too.

    JBA Triangulated 4-link

Leave it to you to come in and spoil my sense of accomplishment. Me: "Hey my Jeep is running great today!" tjkj2002: "Nah man. Not really. But, f@#k man, did you see mine?" Me: "You're right. My Jeep sucks. Someone find me some rope and a chair." :rotflmao:

    JBA Triangulated 4-link

Yesterday I had the triangulated 4-link installed in my '02. It made a huge and immediate difference in overall rear stability. That poor rear upper control arm just wasn't made for keeping all that weight stabilized over the rear axle -especially the tank that I'm rolling. My Liberty's rear...

    just saw

There's one other lifted Liberty here in Comayagua, and I work with the guy. Silver beast with a 3" lift with Mopar roof lights. Pretty sweet looking ride. I'm running 33x12.50s with a set of RCV CVs. What is this CV nonsense of which you speak? :party36:

Upgradeable tie rods/linkage for the Liberty

Hey everyone. Anyone know if it is possible to upgrade the tie rod/linkage on the '02? I was thinking about something similar to this: Kartek Off Road - Tie Rods Still trying to dig up an exploded view of the Liberty rack and pinion to see what the parts are called and whether or not...

Took me the better part of six months to get my RL gear. He totally hooked me up on the jerry can and hi lift mount.

    considerations for a 4.7L swap

Labor isn't really a concern. I have an awesome mechanic on retainer that costs me $125.00/mo regardless of the work being done. Hard to believe, but oh so true. ;) What's the name of the company that does the computer work? I'd like to talk with them.
