    Used to use a dewalt 3/8 impact until I worked up the guts to fork over the money for the snap on 3/8 and 1/2 ones I have now lol.. took me a couple months to work up the desire for them

    That's usually where mines at with battery usage too.. switch the batteries over for charging on Wednesday and Friday mornings usually. Usually at 50% around Tuesday afternoon, but that's still plenty of power to break off lugs do I just hold off on switching them till the next morning

    My impact lives at work most of the time lol don't really carry it with me for spare tire situations.. I can think of much better uses for it than to leave it in the back of my jeep.. much rather just leave my spare breaker bar I'm here

    I keep a 4-way in the trunk, but that's mostly just for changing other people's tires for them if I don't have a 1/2" socket for my breaker bar that fits their lugs. I keep 15-25mm, and 1/2"-7/8" sockets in the jeeps toolbox for these events, but I've used that 4-way to get a couple people off...

    That's where mine hunts stock.. especially trying to do 55 up a hill.. I'm either very slowly losing speed at 1800rpm or quickly gaining speed at almost 3k rpms.. then it will shift and the gear hunt continues.. so I just do 65 up the hills and avoid the whole thing :D

    Shoot I drive everywhere I go between 60-80mph and it uses about the same gas as if I drive 50. It's just learning how to hold steady speeds while keeping your rpms as low as possible... Only edit I would suggest is where you state to clean the throttle body with throttle body cleaner/carb...

    Yupp, I've bent 2. Usually grab the jack kit from liberties that I rip parts off of at the junk yard.. But i just carry a 1/2 breaker bar with a socket on it sitting behind my jack now.

    You gunna dig into it first and make sure the gears and axle splines are still okay? Hate for you to go through the whole process and end up with the same problem and end up chasing other parts because of it..

    Exactly. Why not? Says the engine is shot, but hey might be rebuildable. Worst case scenario=free bumpers and scrap weight. (biggthumpup) But personally I'd be hoping for usable donor rocker panels and a roof skin. My only rust left is around the lap weld in the gutter by the third brake light...

    Question about parking brake.

    Like Tim stated, both rear brakes have in-hat rotors for the parking brake. My guess is when you look at them you're going to say wow I should've done this sooner lol.. that was my reaction when I saw mine and they barely made any noise at all.. Only 02 have rear drums for the parking brake...

    That's literally my exact problem right now.. mines been doing it for awhile now and it always quiets down over 70. 65 still loud, 70 it's gone. I found its loudest at 30ish mph.
