ok guys im not the most handy of people so i need help to figure out most things so here we go:
i wanna buy a thrush glasspack and new tip to put on my libby. its cheap and from what ive seen so far fairly easy to do. therefore does anyone have a diagram or video or something that can help me...
even though i dont own a renny or a light bar i do have subs and i get loud vibrating noises like this. ive noticed its partly just the insulation on the roof being pulled from the metal from my loud system. and of course other stuff rattling around too.
i second this as i had one before i got subs and needed an aftermarket HU. but i kept the controls and part of my ipod and ran the cable to come out right under the emergency brake
i have a picture of mine in my profile. thats a Kenwood KDC-148. however they dont make it anymore but they make one thats basically the exact same thing but all red when it lights up. Its a Kenwood KDC-152 goes for $79.99 on crutchfield. and has an aux.

After ive finished laughing at the hilarity of this prediction.... i guess i am to continue my saving up for the good 'ol lift. thanks all for the insight
Hello all. Been looking around for a lift. I know OME/Bilstein is the best way to go but I dont and wont be able to get the money. How are the kits at Rusty's offroad? Heres the link:
Jeep KJ Liberty Suspension Lift Kits, Suspension Systems, and Suspension kits
Stock suspension with 75K miles measured at 18.25" front driver/passenger. 18.75" rear driver/passenger. can anyone point me to a good lift that would be cheaper than the OME Bilstein route? say the $200-$400 range? i know OME/Bilstein lifts are the best but im only 17 year old kid that works...
i havnt read every page so i dont know if this has been asked yet but does anyone notice a loud THUMP! when going up for example a curb or something? that is, after having had this recall work done.
Ok so I've been looking into thrush mufflers and particularly the glass pack because of its being very inexpensive. I would like to know how they all hold up and if there's any highway drone and how much.
If possible id like an audio/video clip of it please. And not just a idle and rev. I...
i just wanted to do like an aem brute force intake for fun. except its ~$300 for that.
for the antenna: ive seen people with like a 13" black rubber antenna that looks way better than the stock and stays out of the way. and its cheap
So i wanna do some mods this summer when i get the money but i dont know what i should do. i basically wanna do stuff to learn and become more acquainted with jeeps and cars in general. so based on what ive done could you all give me some ideas on things i can do?
first things ive done so you...
well it depends where but my favorite is at steak n shake THE Cookies 'n' Cream milkshake. it is the greatest ice cream flavor known to man hands down. dont even start to argue w me on it.
uhm no to me its not a "cool" sounding noise like if i had a flowmaster or something. the best way to...
yeah so using an example to explain my "problem". when im going through the steak and shake drive through to get a nice big milkshake my Kj makes a weird kind of crackling (best i can describe it) noise coming from the exhaust. it only does it when i give the kj just a little gas like when i go...
i get that too but in the right rear somehow.
SOLUTION**** put bass boost on 2 and sub level up to 15 = becoming temporarily deaf and anonymous to the noise :Rock on: :Rock on: :Rock on:
