    Hypertech 52501 Programmer

It actually supports down to 2004 per Hypertechs website.

    Programmers

Did they happen to specify what years they support?

    Programmers

Cool! Hopefully it's true. More support is never a bad thing. Did they mention anything about hp/tq gains?

    Programmers

I don't think anyone used it since it is not compatible with our engines. If you want a programmer, I believe Hypertech is the only one that offers anything worthwhile.

Magnaflow 11226 vs Flowmaster 70 review

Just thought I'd share my experience so others don't make the same mistake! My stock exhaust on my jeep recently rusted through leaving me with no choice but to upgrade. After researching a good bit, the general consensus was to go with a magnaflow muffler. Boy what a mistake. Now I'm not...

You could always use clamps also. No need to weld.

Little bit of an update. I ripped the magnaflow off and replaced it with a flowmaster 70 series over the weekend. Much better! It has a deeper tone than stock but sounds almost as quiet as the factory muffler inside the vehicle. Absolutely no droning! It has a very good sound considering its...

No, like I said, highway speeds are ok. I actually like the sound of it on the highway. However, the most droning occurs when in the city accelerating or maintaining speed between 1700-2500 rpms. Which is where I do most of my driving during the week. It is also almost deafening when it is...

Well, I got my magnaflow installed over the weekend. To put it frankly, I am very dissappointed. It drones terribly between 1700-2500 rpms in city driving. Enough to drown out any conversation to be had in the vehicle. When I took my wife for a drive she looked at me and said it sounded...

I assuming it necks down where it bolts together? Since that short piece of pipe between that and the muffler looks the same size and doesn't neck down.

I'll probably order here shortly also. One last question though. Does the stock exhaust neck down to 2.25 before and after the muffler? I tried looking and only could tell for sure it necked down after. I couldn't tell if it did going into the muffler.

How is the sound compared to stock? I'd like a better flowing exhaust but nothing that is annoying/droning....

I think this is the one that comes with the cat-back system that magnaflow offers. I'm trying to find out for sure but I think this is the one we want. MagnaFlow Exhaust Products - For Trucks, Suv's, American Muscle, Diesel, & Sport Compact Vehicles

What model magnaflow are you recommending? Just found out my exhaust rusted out so I am in the market for one also. I would prefer something that sounds good but is not overly loud. Definitely do not want a droning flowmaster like I had on my old explorer.....

    High power reverse lights

That is the newer version. The old version was 5W with the radial LEDs(the ones I got and showed pictures of.) The new version is 9W with only LEDs pointing out the back. I can't imagine an extra 4W on top of what I have!
