I saw that. If I'm not mistaken though, I believe Napa is the only one that sells the metal piston version now. I looked at advance auto parts and they didn't have any listed...
Try explaining that to a sales man. The excuse I got was "if your jeep comes with phenolic calipers, you must use them then! Only the ones that have metal piston calipers can use them...." As far as I know, I thought all libertys came with phenolic piston calipers!
Just got done replacing the right rear caliper and ran into a problem. I upgraded to Napa metal piston calipers just to find out that the brake pads no longer clip in the piston. Anyone else have this problem? I managed to bend the tabs out so the brake pad will stay somewhat centered, so I'm...
Get some Silverstar Ultras. I got mine for $30. Stay away from the Silverstar Zxe's. They cost more and are not as bright as the ultras. That was confirmed by the company itself, said they are more for the blue look than brightness.
Patiently waiting and looking everyday. :emotions33:
The only thing is, if I get Rubicon wheels, I would paint them in the same color scheme as my freedom edition wheels. If I found the mambas(graphite or machined), I wouldn't have to. :deal:
I would like moabs but I really like the lookk/color of my freedom edition wheels. Although.... those Mamba look awesome! Do you have any pictures with them on the jeep?
Posted this on lost also.
Just curious if anybody has any input on these? The price is decent and they are new.
I know they aren't oem, but for those who want the look brand new this might be a decent option(if you don't want used!)
New Set of 4 Alloy Wheels Rims 16" 16x8" Fits Jeep...
I believe it supports 2004-2010 according to hypertechs web site. I'd be all over this is they supported 2003s.... :disgust:
I've been bugging them to release support for 02-03 libertys for the last year.
So did you notice a difference with this installed?
Sorry, didn't mean to come across mean. I agree it is quite interesting. I was just pointing out that a lifted liberty with V6 can still manage 20.5mpg at 75 mph. (I think mine was rated 22 highway stock) My stratus on the other hand which is more aerodynamic and weighs less, only nets 23mpg at...
I understand that. That's why I told you the each trip was driven at the same speed in either car. Plus, if you drive the speed limit around here you are more likely to cause an accident. :disgust:
I have that 2.4l engine in my stratus and find it severly lacking it power. I'm sure it would be better with a 6 speed instead of an auto though. Also, don't expect too much in fuel economy from it. I average around 23mpg on a 2.5 hour trip in my car traveling around 75 compared to getting 20.5...
