is there any downside to using an aluminum though?
I like how they look and I'd assume they'd be stronger/won't start changing color after a few months
I've been looking into this recently after my cheap amazon crap broke and has caused way to many problems and I'm interested if it might be something worth doing
I want to say it does, whenever I am fully extended there is a loud popping/banging noise, no clue if this has to do with my block lift but idk what else could be wrong
yeah I know, that's why I'm looking at doing an actual spring lift rather than just blocks and the extended travel cv axles with the JBA UCAs give better articulation, I'm not sure what else I can do other than that, but I'm sure there might be more.
that isn't bad, though if the same thing happens with the extended travel ones it get expensive, they are like triple the price of a normal cv. there are also the JBA upper control arms that help improve stuff as well.
I'm driving a jeep liberty with 255/75 r16 tires and am wondering what gearing I should regear too and what are the possibilities of adding in at least one locking differential along with the regearing. I'd like to get both differentials to be locking if possible, but I'm not sure if it is...
I'm looking at it now and really my main priority is getting it off of the block lift and improving the articulation, It sounds like with current parts I'll probably be aiming for 3 to 3.5 inch lift which would still be an inch more than what I have right now
I'll have to look into that, have...
