A little water is normal but it should be coming from the tailpipe not the muffler.

I agree.. that spacer is going to net you more than 2.5”. Aftermarket control arms are most likely needed, but it should (barely) clear the ball joint once it’s on the ground.

Excerpt from the Odyssey AGM Technical Manual. Note the 14.2-14.5 volts. I could only achieve that with a voltage boost. It gets even more imperative as the temperature drops.
It is yes… I also saw that post while searching for a Jeep solution. Without any reference to a source it’s difficult to assess it worth. You could check your alternators charging output with a decent voltmeter to get a baseline and then inquire with the battery manufacturer as to suggested...
Unfortunately I never had an AGM in my KJ … my current beast is a Toyota FJC. You can use a diode to “trick” the alternator to provide increased voltage … or you can buy a pre made device similar to below. Perhaps the KJ/KK dudes will chime in.
