Those filters look nasty !! Replace them, even use a shop vacuum in between service intervals? I wish the KJ would have had a cabin filter.- LibertyTC

Anti thief reset help
Drained battery, ensure it is a good load tested battery. For reset, try removing both battery cables away from battery & tape both cables together for 45 minutes. Hope that may help...- LibertyTC

2004 Liberty Control Shift Cable
Sorry to hear that you have to replace the cable at this time of year. Jeep's definitely do not like to sit for a year. You have to start, shift & drive them, otherwise problems like this may arise. Best wishes on cable replacement.- LibertyTC

Fill up and the jeep dies wont idel.
Keep in mind this is a pressurized system. If you leave it running then open the gas cap, you are asking for a trouble code. Do you have an engine light on?- LibertyTC

Rear brake backing plates, almost $400 what gives?
It's really a shame that the OEM stamped steel braking plates were not galvanized (zinc coated) It is definitely not cheap to replace the rear braking plates. engine sputters after start
Could be an ethanol fuel related issue. (likes to absorb moisture) Water in fuel? Try adding a water removing product in fuel first. Next would be to have the fuel pressure tested, if problem persists. How many miles on your current spark plugs?- LibertyTC

Even though you may think the ATF+4 fluid level is fine on the 42RLE, it probably is a tad low. I slightly over fill it & the sloppy shifts are gone. Stereo troubles
The oem radios were problematic. Most have replaced them by now. They were low wattage units. Consider upgrading. The higher wattage and modern features including remote, & hands free, removable face plate, blue tooth, sat radio is convenient. My music is all on a flash drive/ USB stick now...- LibertyTC
