New Here, New to Jeeps, New to the 04 KJ I bought last weekend.
If I am reading this right, they told you to come in because they had the parts. Then when you showed up they didn't have the parts. Then when you complained they mysteriously where able to find the parts? If that is true I would send a letter to Jeep HQ and never go back to that dealer...- profdlp

What did you do to your jeep today?
As my lift was being finalized I remember Tommudd telling me to go and find the worst road I could and really beat it around so it would all settle in. (I had plenty of roads to pick from here in the Cleveland area...) If you don't find anything amiss I bet yours will just fade away too. Hope...- profdlp

What did you do to your jeep today?
I would look underneath and see if you see any marks where something is banging into something else. If you can spot it, maybe a good whack or two with a hammer will fix it. (This is assuming that something with upward travel is hitting something like the undercarriage you can safely flatten out.)- profdlp

Mine was LOUD, and rather disconcerting. (Especially so as I had never driven or even ridden in a lifted vehicle before.) Like what you describe, potholes didn't phase it - it was only on bumps. I'm wondering if something on the undercarriage needed to be tapped down, which eventually...- profdlp

I know of a few people who took their hitch off and then went in and got the "free" one. The downside is that for some people they got a hitch minus the ball mount, which isn't really a hitch at that point. I did not have one and they gave me the full deal, which I have put to good use ever...- profdlp

Boooooy howdy
I was a Machinist Mate in the USN. I served aboard an aircraft carrier for a while. Deep in the hole (engine room) the only time I noticed the planes was when one of them came in hard and shook the deck pretty hard. You could feel it.- profdlp

Any detail on the "accidents"? The report on my Jeep listed some sort of body work required before I bought it.
