I agree with the above, I have the Spartan helical up front and rebuilt the stock trackloc when I regeared a bit ago. I've found that rather than using the brakes to engage the limited slips feathering the throttle works well without the drag of braking. I've got a video of my Jeep with one...
The gears are certainly not interchangeable, but the diff carrier is. Just ask the Spartan helical diff that was built with the standard dana 30 in mind that's currently working perfectly in my dana 30a
As long as whatever you choose also fits 4.10 you should be good. I'm running a "Spartan helical" some say it won't fit, but I've been running it for a couple years with 4.10s no problem. Eaton has a chart on their website which shows our diff as well as the dana 30 that's in other Jeep taking...
Anything that fits a dana 30 should fit the front as long as we're only talking locker and not gear. Chrysler 8.25 is most likely what's in the rear. No particular links, but there's lots of stuff out there in Google land.
Place a jack stand under the lower control arm on the other side to keep it from tilting while you jack up the lower control arm you're trying to reattach. A pry bar in the coil pushing the upper control arm down can help get the nut on the ball joint too. If you still can't get it. Put a chain...
I don't think you can find an OEM rca (boomerang) and if you do they're about the same price as the Iron Rock and not nearly as good. Any of the OEM type that are available aren't know to last.
I think you're meaning knuckle rather than spindle, not that it matters a whole lot. But the ball joint case as you call it and where it fits into the spindle I'm pretty certain are the same for all kj's. But they could certainly wear out and get sloppy over time and use.
Thread 'The great ball joint debate' https://www.jeepkj.com/threads/the-great-ball-joint-debate.77356/ it's just hole for the cotter pin, you'll end up needing to use the nylock nut rather than the castle but if the earlier ball joint is used on the later models. I don't know how well they work...
I had a water pump leak that behaved very similar, the weep hole on the water pump is actually on top of the water pump housing, have you checked there?
Short answer, no. This question has been covered many times, quite recently in fact. Below the site populates similar discussions. Your long answer is there.
