Which rear axel do I have?
So I am doing all the fluid changes in my Liberty (05, V6, came with tow package), and I am not sure which rear axel I have. The identifier is missing on the differential. The Haynes manual says the model 35 requires 75W-140, and the 8.25 rear axel requires 75W-90. I do not do any towing, even...- Corytrade

Intermittent engine cutoff at 2500 rpm
I did a compression check last night when changing the plugs, and sure enough there was low compression. Maybe the tester isn't that great, but cylinders 2, 3, and 4 were at 90 psi, and 1, 5, and 6 were at 120 psi. The manual said as long as they are within 25% of each other it is okay. So...- Corytrade
