installed a external regulator and now i'm getting a constant 14.3 volts and the jeep works perfect again except that i have to apply power to the asd fuse to get it to start once its going if you disconnect power it will stay running but the no key light comes on in the dash but if you leave...- MarkJordive

Still no luck can't find any wires burnt or anything wrong with the harness I'm going to put a external regulator on it so I can start driving it again .ill get back at it in about a week ill be away for work so hopefully with a fresh perspective and so more patience ill br able to figure it out- MarkJordive

immobilizer light flashing and now wont start
thanks for the input i'll go through the wiring under the hood tonight and see if i can figure anything out . the alternator is still putting out a continuous 18.5 volts and starts boiling the battery as soon as you start the jeep if put power to the asd fuse it trips the relay and you can start...- MarkJordive

Ya the engine was running while I was winching. I replaced the battery sensor last night anded tryed it again still have to cross the asd relay to get it to start . it was putting out 18.5volts and burnt out my headlights as soon as I started the jeep . Went out for the may run and the liberty worked great all day until I got stuck and had to do some heavy winching to get out . After that driving down the trail the guages kept turning on and off and the temp started climbing so next spot on the trail I could get pulled over I stopped and shut...- MarkJordive
