Well, I furtled around with the upper tailgate and found two wrong things - the two 13mm nuts holding the latch mechanism were well loose, and the metal catcher in the glass needed to be packed out by about 5mm in order to act on the latching mechanism. 2004 Cherokee front grille
There are two dummy grilles set into the bottom of the front bumper, and I have seen pictures of KJs with lights fitted there. Are these always foglights, or are long-range spots an option?- Minesthechevy

Hi, I've found the website of a breakers yard about 120 km away from me, but they are very VERY spendy. However, they differentiate between a 'Cherokee KJ' (2001 - 2004) and a 'Cherokee KJ/FL' (2004 - 200?7?) Am I right in thinking that the KJ/FL was a mid-life facelift?
