Tranny shifts hard from OD to 3rd??
I changed the tranny fluid in my 03 sport about 2 weeks ago, and ever since then its been shifting hard every time it goes from OD to 3rd. its most noticeable when slowing down. anyone have the part number for a 42rle tranny filter?
Yes, the TF175 filter from Autozone was an exact match. It came with a new o-ring and a rubber pan gasket. I had my pan already dropped, so I was able to bring the filter with me to compare before I bought it. It looks just like the square filter in the picture Corwyyn posted. Thanks...- allan

anyone have the part number for a 42rle tranny filter?
Ive been to checker, autozone and napa and no one has the filter. They only have filters for the 45rfe. Autozone was the only one that even had the option for a 42rle, but it said it was unavailable. I have I'm pretty sure I have the 42rle - its an 03 sport, oil pan has 13 bolts and the...- allan
