2005 Jeep Liberty Not moving when in D

I suppose the next step is also to have a Transmission shop read any stored or pending codes. Clutch volume index %... = ?

Firstly I'd Check ATF+4 Transmission fluid on level ground. Is it showing correct level on dipstick?

    Misfire in all cylinders

What spark plugs did you install? Jeep likes copper core ZFR 6F-11G gap set at .040 Which brand of coil packs did you install? I used Standard Brand coil packs with no issues. What OBD 2 codes are you getting?

    Standard flooded or AGM?

Any Group 34 will fit directly into the KJ. Of course the AGM is best. The best AGM is an Odyssey Battery, but expensive. Odyssey uses virgin lead. My Odyssey AGM is now close to 13 years old & still fires Jeep right up !! If you buy the best, it won't die like the rest. :)

Don't think oil and filter will fix it

Get the transmission codes read by a transmission shop & post back any codes. Is your transmission a 42RLE ?

    Standard flooded or AGM?

I stopped buying lead acid batteries many years ago. AGM's tend to provide greater cranking power, especially when it's below freezing. You won't see corroded terminals on AGM's either.

    Engine light 2004 Liberty

I'd also like to mention that short trips can make the KJ unhappy as the stock pcv valve, can become plugged up with a yellowish foam. Best thing is to drive the jeep a bit further ! This is what my pcv valve looked like due to short trips in cooler weather. Are you using a full synthetic 5w-30...

    Engine light 2004 Liberty

This code means that the engine did not warm up to 180 degrees in 10 minutes after startup. Could be the thermostat is stuck open? Try a new Mopar thermostat? Only use Mopar Hoat Coolant or Zerex GO5.

    Stop Leak question

Not good at all. No quick fix here. The leaky heater core is a big job & you don't want to breathe the misty coolant vapor. Make necessary leak repairs first. Don't drive it. Once you have a new heater core installed, then find a shop with a pressurized coolant recycling machine to get new Hoat...

Hello, new here. I own a 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited. I hit a deer and damaged the driver side front end. What years will interchange, just 05-07 ?

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to see the deer impact damage. Every year jeep seemed to make changes & that can confuse everyone. Possibly find another 2005.
