Cruise control.
2002 libby 3.7 4x4 ltd. My cruise can not be set nor will accelerate past 140 km/hr. Is that the same with everyones or just mine? Thanks- jeep

Help, Rear Ball Joint ....
Nope ... you don't need to jack it up, just sitting on the ground in park/gear. rock it/ roll it for/aft. watch the ball joint. you'll know if it is bad. you will even see the diff roll/pivot if it is bad enough like mine. Yup tryed a BFH, my problem is I can't get the pinch bolt out. I...- jeep

That's what I figured the groove in the stud was for. And yes the ball joint is very bad and the stud did seem cocked over before I removed the nut. Dang bolt just won't come out and won't even turn .. I tryed heat , penatrant, everything. Also what is with the tab/washer on the bolt head side...- jeep

Help, Rear Ball Joint ....
If anyone has done this repair .... I am just in the process of changing my bjoint and I can't get the ball joint seperated from the diff housing bracket. Does the pinch bolt have to come all the way out? Bolt won't come out and no amount of prying banging etc will free the joint. I've tryed...- jeep

I have the same problem when installing an 06 in an 02. I believe after doing some troubleshooting that it is a problem somewhere in the vacumn switch. In the 02 manual there is a schematic for the heater control vacumn ports but I don't have the manual for an 06 to compare them. If anyone who... -

So did you read the TSB yourself? Have you actually asked all three dealers if they did the TSB? The invoice for the the head gaskets and sending the head for inspection does not mean they did the TSB .... Basically the TSB gets you to do a running test with the scanner which determines if the...- jeep

I just put an otis from an unkown vehicle.(just lying on a pile at the wrecker) for $17 CAD. I got an OAT sensor and harness for $2 more. The install was a snap but the trip doesn't work. No biggy as I mostly just wanted the temp and compass. Great write up! Thanks
