87, 89, or93? i've used the search button but that didn't work out. my jeep didn't come with a manual.(stupid dealership) the salesperson said he'd get me one but no luck. he also said he'd get me a second key. i really wanted a spare so i had to keep hassling the guy everyday. he had every excuse in the book . his appartment even burnt down. finally i was abble to go to the jeep dealership and have one made and programmed and they billed him.

As to the owners manual, look just above the glovebox when you open it. There is a slot where the owners manual is supposed to be. It is hard to see unless you are looking. It should be in an O/D pouch. If not try going on the jeep website and e-mailing jeep or going back to the jeep dealer. I also thought there was a owners manual download on line but now I can't find it.

I use 87 all the time except when Im towing. As per the manual I then use 89octane when towing.

Are you sure the manual isn't in the glovebox? It's hard to find, it's hidden in a little nook above the main glovebox compartment.

In my country the lowest octane grade is 93 RON, next we have 95 RON and the premium gas is 97 RON... I'm paying too much for stuff I didn't use...

but your 93 RON is on a different octane rating than other countries.

australia is up to 100 octane, but it is rated differently than some areas.

we have 87 unleaded 89 unleaded with 10% ethonol and then 93 premium here in south dakota. I run the 89 unleaded with the the 10% ethonol because its cheaper by about 6 cents haha
