2008 jeep liberty (automatic trans )starts to buck

Could someone help me with trying to figure out why my 2008 jeep liberty (automatic trans )starts to buck when it gets to 3,4 gears any Idea's?

Could it be low on transmission fluid?

I can feel the engine rocking a little.

Well I can tell you that my 2006 used to shift pretty hard, and I thought something may have been wrong with the trans. But I traded that one in, and bought a 2011, and it does the same thing since about 800 miles on the odometer. I dont know why the 42RFE does this, but it's pretty consistent in my opinion

I would take it to the dealer and have them flash the ******. I have a 2010 that would shift I lil weird and brought it back. The service manager is a friend of my wifes and he said that there were dome new updates for the ******. The flashed it with the current software now no problems. Hope this helps.
