I have an 08 Liberty with ~135k miles and recently (last week) a loud hum/roar noise began to come from the front passenger side wheel. At first I thought I maybe something was in wheel well rubbing against wheel, but couldn’t see anything. After the vehicle sat for about 8 hours, the noise disappeared and just began to occur again yesterday. The noise begins around 40 mph and seems to be pretty minimal at around 70-75 mph. Turning in either direction seems to negate the noise, and it’s very sporadic. For example, my commute yesterday it was all I could hear, but today it only happened for about 1/4 of my commute. Not sure if wheel bearing or something else. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
