2010 Jeep Liberty

Hey guys I have a issue here and looking for some guidance. I have a 2010 Jeep Liberty and I have no license plate lights. Replaced the bulbs and still nothing. I don't have power at either connector or the 2 tag bulbs. All of the rear lights; brake lights, parking lights, turn signals work.
Any suggestions would be super!

Ground problem is what is sounds like to me. But also it may be a fuse.

ended up being a disconnected connector in tailgate.
