2011 back door not locking.

I have a 2011 Jeep Liberty. The rear hatch isn’t locking when I press the key fob. You can hear a lock click as if it wants to lock but it doesn’t. Any one have similar issues & solutions?

It probably just needs cleaning and oiling.

Usually the little microswitch that releases the glass is the only problem with the latch.
