What kind of lift do you have? If you want to run 265-75s even you need 3.5 to 4 inches of a good full spring lift to run them and have enough room to flex
285-70s sure if you want to cut the front end apart

Why you want such big tires?

You will need to re-gear for them there 31.71 inch tall tires!
Then there is the fact that the front alloy diff will not like/nor most likely be able to put up with the added size if you wheel you KJ hard!

But what do I know Eh!

I'll just stick to tried and trued!

There is a lib running around my town with 285's I have no idea what he has for a lift but its taller than mine, and its hacked up pretty bad in the wheel well area. looks like 8" wheels to me and they stick way out, I assume he hits the back of the wheel well hard when he turns. the wife and I were in my other vehicle when I saw it and she read the tire size at a traffic light but couldnt get the drivers attention. Guy I work with claims to know the dude but can never provide me anymore info.

I still disagree with you tomm, my 265-75's do not rub at all up front even when flexed ( I did some firewall mods with a hammer though :) But the washer res, is still in place and its no where close to that upfront.

They do rub at the rear but its not real bad. I do not run any extended bumpstop back there, probably would solve it if I did. I also am not regeared. My tires measure 31.9 inches tall, and I am not regeared. Power loss is hardly noticable and speedo is off by 5mph.

My 265-75s do not rub either BUT I have done a lot to make sure they do not that most people would not.
Not worth the time, money, loss of power, anything to go bigger
Don't care what anyone says going over a 31 or so inch tall tire you WILL lose power, if you don't think so you are kidding yourself.
My speedo is off 7 miles per hour by the way
Of course you can install any size on anything almost just depnds on if you want to drive it down the highway or actually go off road and not have it tear stuff off doing it!
