Recently I noticed my car was smoking / Making a horrible smell. Realized that the compressor clutch was seizing, and not long after my belt snapped. I managed to find a new Clutch kit for this extremely rare compressor (it seems), had a lot of trouble removing the old one as the inner side of the bearing has warped onto the spindle and won't come off. During the removal process the compressor started to leak a small amount of air and seconds later it went BANG.. Spewing all over the inside of the engine bay. After a few days of trying I've given up with the compressor and now I just want to bypass it. However I'm not sure how to go about it as it seems I need a new pulley and will need a new belt. I will need to attach the new pulley in the circled hole (I think).
I am located in Australia so if any Aussie's have recommendations on places to get new parts that would also help. Thank you.

Whatever you do is going to involve fabrication so I'd be tempted to graft an ac compressor out of a different car, that way you should be able to get it cool again.
Another option is an alternator, not wired up just used as a pulley.

Also I doubt it was made just for one Jeep, it must be used on other cars, I've got a KJ and a WJ on my drive at the moment, get some better pictures of it and I'll compare it to what's on them.

I was originally going to try and grab a used compressor, but cost is starting to add up, especially once it needs a full re-gas. I was hoping it would not need fabricating as I'm hoping I can bolt on a new pulley to the hole circled in red, as this is what the diagram shows. I just couldn't find the right pulley / belt system. I've found an option that I am going to try. I will update here next week once the parts arrive and see if it works.
