Someone REALLY needs to create a post/thread to define all the acronyms y'all use on here....please....it drives me absolutely when I see SFA JBA CRD WTFYTA IHNC GISAT (I made some of those up!) .....ya know??

CRD - Common Rail Diesel ('05-6 diesel Libertys were available in North America, '02-10 available export model)
WTFYTA - What The F* Ya Thinkin, *****!
IHNC - International Harvester Netherworld Combine
GISAC - Gross, It's Sticking Around, Corwyyn!

Yeah acronyms can be a bit hard to decipher, but if you need to just ask - we all have to start somewhere.

LBJ - Lower Ball Joint
UBJ - Upper Ball Joint

ABS- antilock brake system
ABM- antilock brake module
APPS- accelerator pedal position sensor
ATF- automatic transmission fluid
AWL- airbag warning light
BCM- body control module
CCN- cabin compartment node (fancy way of saying instrument cluster)
CKP- crankshaft position sensor
CMP- camshaft position sensor
DLC- data link connector
DTC- diagnostic trouble code
ECT- engine coolant temperature
EGR- exhaust gas recirculation
EMIC- electro-mechanical instrument cluster
ESP- electronic stability program
FCM- front control module
MIL- malfunction indicator lamp
OCM- occupant classification module
ORC- occupant restraint controller
PCM- powertrain control module
PCV- positive crankcase ventilation
PDC- power distribution center
RKE- remote keyless entry
SAS- steering angle sensor
SKREEM- sentry key remote electronic entry module
TCM- transmission control module
TCS- traction control system
TDC- top dead center
TIPM- totally integrated power module
TRS- transmission range sensor
WCM- wireless control module

That is most of the acronyms that apply to the KJ and KK. That should get you by for awhile.

If I think of more, I'll keep adding to the list.

Two more I just thought of that you sometimes see.

Tires:

MT's: Mud Terrain - serious offroad tires.
AT's: All Terrain - for mixed road/offroad use.
