Adding Grab Handles aka OH SH*T Handles to the KK

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience in adding grab handles above the window in a KK model on both sides? I was planning on buying a generic metal grab handle then drilling it into the car above the window on both the driver and passenger side. I was wondering if anyone has done this with another car, how far to drill, and if there is any electrical wiring or things I need to be careful of when drilling?

Any advice would be great, it's my first Jeep mod.

I remember seeing a thread where people were talking about the differences in the grab handles in different models, try searching for it and I'll bet you'll find some good information. I'm pretty sure it was a kk thread too.
