I am new to the forums. As a matter of fact, I just picked up my Liberty on Saturday. Anyway, I already have an aftermarket Kenwood head unit in the truck. I also have a Kenwood amp and some tweeters to get installed. My question is, what is the best choice for bass in these vehicles and where should they be mounted? I am considering 10" tubes in the back.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I should also mention that I am not looking for a hard hitting bass sound. I just want a good sounding system.

Definetly check out an infinity bass link... Sounds awesome, small, and not overpowering... I think pretty much everyone mounts them in their rear cargo area. Check out ebay to get a good deal on a bass link.

I actually started out with an infinity bass link then installed a 800 rms watt sub, which ended up being too powerful. Took it out. Now I am back to my bass link... it really is a great little invention.

Cool! Another Cincy resident on the forum, I live in Fairfax specifically. Until now, I think the closet was Eddo in Dayton.

I am in the Deer Park area, Sycamore Township. Wow, you guys are as active as the other car club I am in. That is fantastic!!!

Sub mounted on a carpeted board. Doesn't move at all and easy to remove.

Ground Cable (quick disconnect I made)

+ Cable (same type of disconnect, but covered with tape so it doesn't short circuit)

The board isn't screwed to the Jeep... I think its pretty clear, the friction of the carpet holds it perfectly in place.
