Aftermarket radio install...need the antenna adapter?

I'm ordering up everything I need to put a new stereo in the wife's '07 Liberty so I'm not stuck with an open dash and no part. Does the factory stereo use the small antenna and therefore require the adapter for an aftermarket (specifically Pioneer) head unit?
