Please help me I have an 05 renegade I am trying tto take the anatana cable out of the back of the radio. Do I just pull or is there a secret? I tried to pull it but it didnot want to move so I did not want to force it.

don't just yank on it. do a search within the last couple of days, someone screwed up thier unit recently.

like i said do search, someone posted a reply with page from a service manual showing/directing how to remove the locking collar.

In some cases, pulling the antenna cable straight out of the radio without pulling on the locking antenna connector could damage the cable or radio. You might have one of these. If so, pull outwards on the locking collar before attempting to pull off the antenna connector.

thanks for doing the search, i had to go get my boy from scouts or i would have tried to dig it up. i just wanted to warn him/her in case they have my mentality (lost a camera because the film cover wouldn't open) like mine.
