I recall watching some TV program the other day where they added hundreds of dollars of performance mods to some car and only gained 3 hp. What's with that?

On a similar topic, I know you can probably improve performance by buying better spark plugs for your Libby, is it possible to buy a better fuel injector, maybe one from a different Chrysler motor?

Old school to increase performance/HP, was gears,headers,free flow exhaust, cam, lifters,pistons, carb, and advanced ignition curve, without need or concerns for OBDII & passing emissions.
New school-Limited to OEM settings based on too many "fixed" computer parameters in a effort to control emissions, throughout,air,injector(fuel) exhaust,timing, including ******.
Unless you can re-write /design the engine, and computer book of settings, it is find a new motor and management system. Now who wants to buy new rig & trial a Pentastar?
I know the 3.7 is not the best for fuel economy, but performance is not that bad, and it is reliable overall!
If you want a red light runner buy a corvette. If you want to really haul something heavy, buy a diesel or large 8 PU.
Spark Plugs do not increase horsepower.
Compared to stock,I would like to see a torque curve /dyno report with 4:10s...anyone...

Today it cost's big $$$ to get a honest increase in HP.Not only from programming but the parts needed to take advantage of that programming.

For a honest 60hp increase on a 3.7 it would cost you several thousand dollars if keeping naturally aspirated and many thousands more $$$ on a engine dyno(not chassis dyno).
