What is a good aux cord for the RBQ headunit and how do I add one? I have the CD changer but no sat radio so would I use that port?

Thanks!

Hey HJ!

I have the RBK radio but I believe you can do as I did with your RBQ. I added a SiriusXM radio last fall and used this interface from Grom Audio. I don't have the CD changer though the head unit has the input for the changer. That's where I plugged in the Grom interface and then I plugged the 3.5mm cable into the back of the satellite receiver. Works perfectly and sounds great.

I can send you a pic of where I mounted the satellite receiver if you want. Let me know.

Bob

I wonder if I could plug the Grom thing into the satelite radio port...assuming there is one and it's empty. I'd like to keep the CD changer, sentimental maybe? lol :D

Sorry, just feeling mischievous. :icon_lol:

You game for major surgery? There might be a way to do this:

You are braver than I am if you go that route. :mexsmoke:

This is from one of the Dodge boys and looks a little better:

This one requires no soldering, assuming it actually works:

I mention the "actually works" part because when I was looking into this some of them seemed to be rather hit-or-miss, though that could also stem from user imbecility.
