Tried to search similar topics but couldn't find any so..

My Liberty has Chrysler 8.25 limited slip axle and the car clunks at slow speeds, probably higher speeds too but can't hear that too well. At first I thought the cause has to be rear UCA or LCA but they are solid. Today I jacked up the car and the rear tires (both) has excessive side to side and in and out play and that sounds like exactly the clunk i've been hearing.

Any ideas what might be causing this? Wheel bearing, C-clip or LSD pack worn out? My liberty has been driven only for 26k miles and I changed the rear diff fluid with lsd additive like 3k miles ago.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

What do you call excessive play ?
There will always be some in and out play, will never be fully tight ( there is an issue if it is )

I can move the tire in and out and a little side to side and hear the clunk noise. There is not supposed to be any noise with the in-out movement, right? Like clunking ?
