Biggest tire i could get?

I just bought a Daystar 2.5" lift kit, could i put on a 245/75-16 tire?
it is possible to go bigger than a 245/75-16 with that lift? what would i have to do to get a bigger tire?

you MAY be able to fit bigger with that lift but there is more to it than just fitting them
you will also loose MPG's and power
bigger tires will require trimming ,moving and extending
and for what?
the best you can hope for is 1/2" under your diff.
when you are talking about a 4500# rig that is over 6' tall a 1/2" is nothing

not enough gain to justify the loss
on another note did you install the lift yet?
do you have the extended bump stops for the front?
new struts?
new shocks? (having an '03 if you have not replaced them I am sure they are bad)
if the answers are no to these questions you may want to get them before you install the lift other wise you will be doing the work twice

yes i have bump stops for front and back and also have new shocks but i dont have new struts.
