Just purchased the Bosch Platinum 2 Spark Plugs from my local Autozone. I asked for a price check on the Platinum 1 and 2 plugs and I decided to go fork over some extra cash for the 2's. Upon getting to the checkout the cashier accidently punched in the wrong SKU # and gave me all 6 plugs for the Platinum 1 price!! HAHA!
Anyways, I put them in today and yes, the passenger side was a pain in the ass. After removing the factory spark plugs I noticed that they were slightly blackened on the end and the thread area was slightly burnt looking. I have 40K+ on my Jeep at this time. Besides the idea of running the new plugs close to 100K, is there any other changes that may have occured? I did not notice any performance increase, and it is too early to tell if my gas mileage may be better.[/img]
