I have a 2006 2.8CRD RHD Jeep KJ and the brake booster progressively failed, now permanently hard pedal, all the checks I could find on the forum have been carried out.
New brake pads all round, bled brakes etc.
I ordered a used booster complete with master cylinder and that is exactly the same, actually worse! always a low hissing from the pedal which gets worse when pressed, still solid pedal.
I blanked off the pipe to the HVAC etc and teed into the vacuum pipe from the vac pump to the booster with a gauge and when I kink the pipe between the tee and the booster the vac jumps immediately to 27.5 in Hg, release the pipe so that there is suction on the booster and it immediately drops to zero.
This is the same with both of the boosters I now have and I cannot find another one anywhere, preferably a new one, part number is P52129354AC.
Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a rebuild kit for the booster? I've seen them being rebuild on you tube, in India I think, but cant locate any kits (or even a new booster).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are several classic car specialists in England that offer to rebuild obsolete brake servos, there must be similar in France?
If not they may offer a postal service to do yours.
