So long story short, I was trail riding in my Liberty and brushed up against a tree. It stole some paint off my bumper and left a pretty nasty bruise. Luckily, my fog light still works. Does anyone know of a cheap way to fix this?

It's a "trail badge". Sets you apart from the mallcrawlin' Jeep population. Wear it with pride.

that's a flesh wound.. lick it and and leave it or bring it to a body shop. Or get it LineX'd and never worry about scuffs again.

Buff it out as much as you can to get rid of all the little scratches and touch up the rest and if you don't like it THEN go to a body shop, just a suggestion

Cheapest...do nothing.
Low cost...rattle can bed liner.
Soso cost...quadratec rattlecan factory paint.
Med-higher cost...line x.
I would recommend not hitting trees :) I have done that too though. *shrug* happens.

Get one of those cheesy scratch repair kits. It comes with a crayon and wax. The wax has some pigment in it. They come in the "crayola" colors and I know there is a blue kit. It doesn't last forever but it is easy to apply.

It failed to stop at a stop sign which I had the right away.My right fog light was shining in the cops face from about 3" away after smashing through the drivers door window.

To bad you did'nt get pictures of that.

Replace with ARB.

I've hit trees, rocks, shopping carts, celeica's,and police cruisers with little to no damage with my ARB.

Police Cruisers? Story time!

EDIT: Nevermind, already got it above. This is where I need to hit "refresh" more often.

Do nothing
That is what I do
I still roll the factory bumper on the TJ
took 2 good hits to the drivers side
both times I was trying to squeez by and slid into the
tree in question
I have also laid it on the drivers side twice and
both rear corners are bent
1 of the trees also did a number on my fender
it has also been keyed
None of this has been fixed
Hell I only wash it maybe twice a year
No mistake I use it like a Jeep should be used
but I take care of the "running gear" like it
cost me $100,000

Nah, don't mess with it. Just leave it like it is.

Some idiot side-swiped me on new-years a few years ago. Surprise surprise, it was a woman driver. Surprise again, she was not insured.

I passively decided to not mess with it. I had just started a very busy school schedule, and was working too many hours a week to dick around with skin damage on the hooptie. I figured that it's not too bad the way it is. Besides, it's always possible that someone hits me in traffic, and it'll get fixed then (assuming they're insured).
