I haven't heard of any chips that work that are available. I thought I heard somewhere that Superchips could do custom applications or something like that. You may want to contact them. The Jet Performance chip is completely worthless. I've never heard of anyone being happy with them. Also, the 3.7L is in the Dakota and some other vehicles, so if there's no chips out yet, there should be soon I would think.

Are you talking about those chips they sell on Ebay. If so, don't bother, they claim to make the computer re-think that it's getting a cooler charge of air, and thus, better power curve. After about 100 miles, the computer recalibrates itself and the chip becomes useless.

Instead, buy the Rusty's KJ Air intake tube, and a 5x8 filter from Jegs.com. The reason I say, 5x8, is that the 6x9 will hit the AC tubing. 5x8 is the max filter size will not touching anything.

no im talking about a real performance chip. not the 20 dollar crap on ebay but the ones that cost a couple hundred bucks and actually give your vehicle gains. i was just wondering whats available. i am planning to do some performance modding within the next 2 years. hopefully there will be one by then.

From everything that I've heard that the JET chips are the only ones out there and you have to get Premium fuel to get effect.

But I've also heard from people using them, that it seemed ineffective and a waste of money. There was no burning of the rubber or mileage increase. Also the quoted power gains are the same as a intake kit, which has been shown to increase HP, Torque and Mileage. Cost, same or less.

Id give anything to get a programmer and fix this stupid ******. It ruins the 3.7's torque.

id be interested. where are they located?

I would be careful as well. Causing stress on the vehicle due to inaccurate computer calculations could destroy your Jeep. You are under Powertrain warranty as well (unless you have exhausted your 70K).

JMO... or 2 cents.
