What are you using to clean your windows Both inside and outside. I tend to get a quick buildup of haze on my front windshield. Any suggestions?

I use to always clean my windows after I cleaned everything else. That included after cleaning the dash with Armor All (or whatever). I always seemed to get a haze on the inside of the windows, so I finally noticed that I had Armor All on my hands, that was ending up on the windows! So to resolve this issue, I now make sure to clean my windows first (with just a clean rag and Windex) before I clean the dash with Armor All. So far, I no longer have been having that haze problem.

Anyway, like I said, I just use a clean rag and Windex for windows. I've found that I can buy a bag of white rags in the painting section at Walmart, and then if their not too greased up, I throw them in the wash.

I also apply Rejex to the outside of the front window as it's easier to clean off the summer bugs!

I think that's what I have, but those premoistened form. They are way too thin and break up easily, armor all almost always leaves residue or small particles behind. I keep using what I bought in that black tube between washes. Try spraying some wiper fluid on a rag and see if that helps with the haze, and go back to routine cleaning.

Well I really don't have a routine cleaning schedule. I think I should start though. I came off a night shift at my job recently and I've been experiencing normal life after 8 months of hidding.

AHHH....routine cleaning. Sounds like a plan to me!!

I actually don't have fixed schedule for my KJ since the weather has been pretty wild recently. But I try to get it washed weekly to every 10 days as weather permits, and do an overall inside cleaning every other week. I also do a spot cleaning here and there while I wait for my wife to get off from the train. Armor All's come handy on the dash in that time and leave a nice scent behind, but once I start doing it I find myself losing my head and ending up detailing the rims or wiping underneath fenders trying to get the road grime out of there with armor alls 8-[ I need help.

Phil, did you ever try

on your jeep. In-between washes and when it's not muddy they do a magical job of cleaning and keeping it clean. I use one to cover the whole jeep and works very well.

The dealer left a can of this in the back of my Liberty. I've used it.

I need to find out how to get more! \:D/ This is the best stuff I've ever seen. Makes glass look like a mirror and absolutely NO streaks!

I second that

where do you find that stuff? Local Shop?

Target

I third it and I pick mine up at wally world...cheap stuff too.

As far as what to use with it, I use a balled up newspaper....yes newspaper. Works GREAT on the inside windows (and outside too, inbetween washings). As far as the outside windows go, when I wash the Jeep I use steel whool them. You have to make sure you get the absolute finest grade of steel whool (rated at #0000, comes in a yellowish package and can be found at any paint department of any store such as Home Depot, Lowes or wally world). I take a piece of the whool, break it in half (you only need half of it at a time) and put a little bit of liquid dish detergent on it (dawn or palmolive or whatever you use) and then wet it. Then wet all the windows on the Jeep and do one side at a time, basically just scrubbing momderately over the windows. Once done, rinse off and move onto the next side.

DO NOT use steel whool on your headlight and foglight covers, as well as DO NOT use steel whool on the side mirrors. These surfaces will scratch (you'll notice the mirrors in the sunlight). I then usually follow it up with a good coat of rain-x on the windshield, and headlight and foglight lenses to keep the bug collection down to a minimum.

Wow what a difference. I cleaned up Jeep last night. Used the Stoner Invisible Glass cleaner and it looks great. I also used Stoner tire shine, spray style. Went on good and no running or overspray.

Next job is doing the RejeX wax when I get it, and then I will tackle the interior (I have some industrial STONER for interior trim paneling. Got it from work!!).

I'm addicted to cleaning the Jeep now. Oh, and I installed my L.O.S.T badge that I received. I'll be posting pics later. I'm tired and at work #-o

Crumpled up newspaper, preferably the pages without color, I usually use the classifieds
