Dash cover help

I have found the dash i want but my question is its from an 03 its the chrome/silver satin finish that is on the limited edition, and i have an 07 sport is there anyway mine will unclip and i can place this one in its place. It looks almost identicle but looks can be decieving. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Removal is just a case of removing a screw near the cigar lighter then unclipping the trim.Not sure if 2007 are compatable or not your dealer may be able to tell you if parts are interchangable, or someone on here who lives locally may be able to let you try theirs to see if it fits.

From the looks of the Jeep.com website there was no change to the dimensions of the dash trim panel that you are looking to pick up. Like Jimmy said, remove the screw near the lighter area then unclip the trim. Pops off, and pop the new one on.

The difference will be on the console with the shifter bezel, the window switched got relocated from earlier years.

I do not think that changed the dash though did it? Marlon could tell us for use.

Didn't change. Unscrew the screw, pop it off, pop on the new one, screw it in, and enjoy.

'02s are a different story. That much I'm not too sure about.

Sweetttt...good because i ordered it the other day from ebay..I wanted the chrome really bad because the blackone is already fading..and its an 07 but thanks again for the help so i didnt spend unnecessary money!

Already fading? Wow... never seen one fade before, and mine is parked outside all day and has never been garaged!

i dont think its from the sun 100% but its definatly lost its black shine in alot of places. It may bet he one time i used a dashcleaner that did make alot of streaks,, but i didnt do anything to my other liberty and i used it all the time. when i get the new chrome one in i will show you a picture of what i mean and how bad it is. now all i need is a new cupholder and ill be set on the inside lol!

Ha! i would like to do that but i cant find one that has the cover that works with a manual not an automatic i had a thread for a dash cover but no hits so i just started searching for individual pieces..hmm we'll seee
