De-blinging

I did a little de-blinging to my Jeep.

I've been thinking of just getting rid of the center caps. What should I do? I don't think that paint will last very long (no clear coat).

I think that too much of a hassle and needs constant maintance. Anyone have pictures of wheels w/o caps.
