2007 Jeep Liberty - I'm wondering if I have a different model or something. Like, was it built so late in 2007 that it's more like a 2008 but they couldn't call it a 2008? Needed to change the window regulator so looked up the part and ordered. Went to change it and I had the wrong part because I needed one that worked with the hole at the bottom of the glass. Got new speakers. Checked and double checked and they were compatible for my Jeep so I got them. Go to put them in and no. My speakers had 3 mounts and the new speakers had 4 (or vice versa) so I had to get an adapter. I've been looking for new seat covers and everything I see has regular seats with regular head rests, while mine are the 'no neck' headrests. I'm very leery of ordering any other parts because they won't fit because of one small detail. What am I missing? This is my first Jeep ever so maybe there's a learning curve that I don't know about.

Unfortunately a Late 2007 KJ is going to be problematic, when it comes to finding the correct parts.
It's known as a cross over year, as the factory made many changes, just before the KK.
I would recommend that you obtain the free Factory build sheet at any dealer, or use the Mopar VIN Decoder, which may have issues currently ?

Hello,
I have a late 2007 Liberty crd, built in September 2007 & spent quite some time researching the different window regulators. Generally, the problem is with the clip that attaches to the window. The best solution I found was to buy a full set (4 doors) of metal clips from the US. My Libby was originally registered in the UK, but I moved to France, so it is now French.

Steiger Performance makes the kit, but I think they are available singly. Mine is the "hole-in-the-glass" type too.
