Ill take more pics tomorrow+tomorrow night. I did this for a little over $100, I got all the metal and bolts at Lowes, the lights are from advance auto parts, they were $70 i think. I dont remember the price for all the bolts and clamps. The 2 camps are called beam clamps, theyre for conduit.

3ft of 3/4in steel. Around $10
2 Beam clamps for conduit- $3 a piece.
2 3in(i think they were 3in, not sure) 1/4in bolts+ alot of washers and lock washers- $ ?
2 Hella 500 lights with wiring harness and bolts-$70
1 good burn putting a hitch on- Priceless.

Ill get the measurements later tonight, and hopefully ill get some pics of them on, i took everything back off to paint it and its still drying, so we'll see. Ohh, and the funny thing is, i just basically started cutting, and it all came out to be exact, i had no left overs. funny stuff. \:D/

How did you get the fogs lights on without the headlights on. My stalk controls don't do that.

lights

Thx guys for giving me such good compliments. If any of u all have any questions about how to do it, just send me a pm or something.

One thing that i must say is, they are starting to jiggle alittle when i hit bumps, this is one thing that i can not stand. When i put them on, it fit perfect to where it pushed up on the bumper, to help stop the bouncing. But now it seems that something has bent downward allowing it drop down off of the bumper, i need to make something to hold it up on the bumper, for now i took some flat pieces of metal and laid them on top up the lip on the bumper and then zip tied them to the square tubes and it has done good so far, but i do not want to leave it like this. i know u all cant picture this so i will take pics later, and after i think of a better way to do it ill post more pics.

I'm not too surprized. You did a really nice job on the install, but the lamps are sitting on what is effectively a very long lever, so physics being the way it is, they are going to want to move unless you do anchor the front....

Thats what i just did, so we will see tonight how it does. When i first put them on, they would shake alittle but enough for me to handle, now it was just unbearable. So heres what i did,

I ran out to ace hardware and found a piece of 12 guage 3/4in galvanized steel for around $3.

I cut it about 5in long and put it on top of the square tubing on each side to where it rested on top of the lip of the bumper. I took some clamps and clamped it to the tubing. Im hoping that it will minimize the shaking to where it was before it started dropping down.

If it does the trick im going to take it all back off and paint it all again so everything is good and black. Ive been scratching it alot making all these changes so i want to fix that.

Ive done some things since then. That stupid method i used to clamp it to the bumper didnt work. The entire plastic bumper would shake. so i went to lowes and bought some toggle bolts and drilled a hole through the square tubing into the bumper and stuck the toggle bolt into the bumper. They dont move now. Ill go and get some pics real fast.

Ehh

Nice idea. Unless youy plan to install a lift, offroad those things are going screw up your entry angle which is why Jeep set the new driving lights on top of the bumper. Gets them out of the way, but at the same time ****** off drivers when used on the highway.
