Driver door creaks like crazy....

...only when it's hot out.
I've greased that sucker so many times with all types of grease including waterproof grease....after a few days it starts creaking like crazy again when I open it.
It's that little arm with the groove that has a little ball bearing or something..... HELPP?

Mine does the same thing. So do the urethane bushings under the front end.

Just wait until October. It'll sound fine then.

But boy, do I wish I could do something about it now eh?

Mine is extremely loud..It is coming from the inside of the frame (I think)..It is always hot in FL, so it squeaks all year round.. I have put on black grease, white grease, WD 40 and many other types of lubes...NOTHING WORKS..HELP ME TOO!!

I have a grease called triple grease by Evinrude made for outboards and the water. That stuff sticks like crazy and it's thick....still not good enough. I'm glad I'm not alone.
Funny it only does it when it's hot out....

Mine does it too. The heat must expand something and makes the noise. I have greased and lubed the door pins to no avail. I think new pins and bushings may take care of it. Maybe a new door hinge???

The sway bar bushings groan like a 70 year old...
Makes everbody look at the Jeep!
Yet when I examine them, they still look fine!
(I have new ones on order, I really need to replace them!)

Mine are quiet as can be,never greased them in 8.5 years.The key is to wash them,clean plastic is quiet plastic.


Just buy new ones,not hard to replace.

Anckle and knee brace in place, and riding around in my friggin wheelchair for the last four days.

hmmm interesting, I'll try cleaning them. Door Check Back, that's exactly what's moaning like mad.
