I have an '06 65th with 38K. And given that it doesn't have that many miles on it, makes me even more frustrated with my KJ. As I was leaving my house and turned on the AC, my engine light started to flash. It had done this before within the last month or so, but went away when I would get off of the brake and/or accelerate, and I haven't had a problem with it since, until today. As I was turning, the Jeep was not reacting to me pushing on the accelerator, and after five seconds of just waiting for it to go, just resting my foot on the pedal, the RPMs went up past 4500 getting up the hill. I obviously turned right around, and headed back home. I know that I'm due for an air filter, but this is the first time that I've had a problem of this magnitude with these sort of symptoms, which is making me think there's a bit more going on than just a dirty air filter. Can you fill me in on what might be going on? Thanks!

When you get an engine light it stores the codes.
Get an OBDII code reader or have someone pull the codes and see what the problem is .
I could say TPS, IAC, spark plugs that need to be replaced every 30k miles, bad fuel, Chevron Techron add etc etc..I'd be just guessing CODE HELP!
Keeping the JEEP's throttle body clean every 25 k miles and doing full tune ups is good!
